The Missile Man Of India

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October 1931 in Tamilnadu and we are celebrating the 91st birth anniversary of Missile Man of India.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was awarded the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, and India's highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna awards

Dr. Kalam was the only man who developed India's first indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV) when he was the project director at ISRO

Dr. Kalam headed several nuclear programs including the Pokhran-2 test in the early '90s. The efforts of Dr. Kalam made India a Nuclear Power.

Dr. Kalam played a very important role in the development of missiles like; Agni and Prithvi at DRDO by using the experience of ISRO.

Dr. Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary is also celebrated as World Students Day and he is known as Missile Man Of India.

He was an Indian aerospace scientist and the president of India from 2002 to 2007
