The giant networking company Cisco is planning to cut 350 employees in Silicon Valley in October.
The company announced this in a filing with California's Employment Development Department, reports Market Watch.
Out of 350 employees, Cisco will lay 227 employees in San Jose, and the remaining 123 in nearby Milpitas, California, from 16 October.
Cisco in November 2022 announced cutting around 5% of its workforce, nearly 4000 jobs. The layoffs in November were a restructuring plan.
A spokesperson for the Global networking company said that the layoffs are a part of rebalancing activities that the company started in November.
The spokesperson said, "This rebalancing is about prioritizing investments in our transformation, to meet and exceed our customer's expectations in the charging technology landscape.
