All About the first ARTIFICIALLY multisensory neuron

Saptarshi Das, associate professor of engineering science and mechanics, Penn State, US, and his team published their work in the journal Nature Communications.

The team concentrated on the output of the robotic sensors to modify the other with the help of visual memory.

The team found that the sensor generates electrical spikes, allowing to integration of visuals and tactile signals

Artificially Multisensory Neuron systems could improve sensor efficiency so that, Robots and Drones could navigate their environment easily.

Saptarshi Das said, Robots make decisions according to their environment, but their sensors do not communicate with each other.

Harikishan Ravichandran and Andrew Pannone both are Co-authors of this research study and both are in their fourth year in engineering and science.
